Since late 2020, we have partnered with the University of Sydney to enhance online learning for students. Over the past three years, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science, we have produced an extensive educational video library for core science units, creating over 150 videos across at least 7 units of study.
Utilising green screen technology, the videos showcase interviews with esteemed scientists and provide engaging insights into potential career pathways for students. This has enabled visual consistency with the University’s iconic campus while circumventing common on-location challenges.
These high-quality videos have been integrated into multiple units, supporting thousands of students in online education. Although exact data is unavailable, feedback indicates our videos have been well-received, helping increase student engagement.
We look forward to building upon this productive relationship with the Faculty of Science and continuing to enrich the online learning experience into the future.
